Is it possible to loose a pound a week and keep it off. The answer two two part weight loss question is "YES" and "Possibly Yes". Th ebest part is that it is not very difficult to do it. All you need is patience to stick with teh plan and will to loose  weight and keep it off. Here is how you can loose a pound or more per week. You must do all of the following and ofcorse the amount of weight loss will vary with persons age and body.

1. Stop supersizing everything : The common urge is to get the most for your money. However by doing so, you get as much as 70-80% more calories that you would otherwise by not supersizing. Keep tendancy tpo supersize under control otherwise cost to pay in the long run in terms of health care is way lot more than what you are saving.

2. Get Rid of Tubs and extra large size ice creme from your fridge.Access to that much food makes one eat more. If you have craving for ice creme, do no pull out the whole container and start eating out of it or eat while watching TV. Both these will make you eat more and not realize that you did until pounds start to show .

3. Get rid of family size prepared foods from your fridge. If you must  buy individual surving prepared foods that are low in calories, fat and salt. If you are always pressed for time, use fozen vegetables (prefarableyorganic ), fruits and pre cut (not pre-seasoned ) meats and chicken . Frozen vegetables are partially cooked and retail all their nutrition value. This will cut your coooking time short for a healthy meal. Get healthy recipes for vegetable and meats and chicken recipes from online to help you prepare low cal healthy delicious food

4. Stay away from bottled water - Well this doesn't do anything for your waist line but helps you with your bottom line. For most times bottled water is waist of money and by spending less money you are likely to face less stress (sounds far fetches ..but may not be...)

5. Limit your intake of Soda - At roughly 150 calories , a 12 oz can packs the punch that fails to register as filling and satisfying. it is basically sugar flavored water that you are drinking. For every can you sip daily, your risk of becoming overweight rises by 35- 40%.
 

6. Don't Bing on food. Eat food/snacks in steady intervals. Don't keep the intervals too close however.

7. Substitue half your snack intake with vegies.

8. If you must eat chps try baked or corn chps

9. Do brisk walk for 15-20 mins (preferably 1/2 hour) every day

10. Last but not the least, go to bed on time and get atleast 8 hours of sleep every night

All the above is more changing of life style than a short term diet plan.
